Ingredient

500 grams

icing sugar

warm water

1 pinch

salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat oven 180° C

* Step 2

Sift flour and salt.

* Step 3

Add butter and mix well till a soft dough is formed

* Step 4

Roll out dough and using a heart cutter ,cut little hearts or any desired shape and place on lined baking tray. Make sure you have an even number of napolitaine

* Step 5

Bake for 20-25 min

* Step 6

For the icing :

* Step 7

Sift the sugar

* Step 8

Add the food colouring, and water, mix well. The icing should be thick enough to cover the napolitaine.

* Step 9

When the biscuits are cooled , divide them in pairs

* Step 10

Spread jam on half and sandwich with the other half

* Step 11

Drizzle the icing over your napolitaines allowing them to overflow the sides to cover the biscuits..

* Step 12

Allow the icing to set completely

* Step 13

Repeat step 10-11 with the remaining napolitaine

* Step 14

Ready to be eaten
