Cabbage Sabji: No Onion & Garlic-(Bong Style): Niramish BandhaKopir Torkari
A very simple commonplace Bengali Dish...which’s almost prepared in every Bong Family on & off...but its immense delectability is worth mentioning & remembering, for sure !!!
Ingredient

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Firstly, slice the cabbage very finely- wash it well enough & strain the water properly & set aside...Also, chop the potato into small-medium cubes, set aside
* Step 2
Keep the tempering spices & rest other ground spices ready & handy...Heat a wok/frying pan, with the oil in it-over the medium flame
* Step 3
Add in the tempering spices & fry the cubed potatoes until golden brown...Add in the chopped tomatoes & some salt- Sauté for about a minute
* Step 4
Add in the rest other ground spices: cumins, coriander, turmeric & red chilli powder- Sauté, until the oil surfaces up & the tomatoes turn mushy
* Step 5
Add in the chopped cabbage into it now & keep stirring continuously for a minute, add in some water (if required, at all)
* Step 6
Cover the lid & lower the flame & let it cook for about 8-10 minutes time, stirring occasionally in between- Add in the ghee, garam masala powder & roasted cumins powder, before putting off the flame
* Step 7
Once done: Turn off the flame & let it sit on the oven for about another 10 mins time before serving it hot with equally piping hot steamed rice & dal with some green salad & lemon pieces
* Step 8
