Ingredient

Ghee

2 tablespoons

Cashew powder

2 tablespoons

Milk powder

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

First, heat ghee in a deep bottomed kadhai/ wok and add the coconut gratings. Keep stirring while cooking for 10 minutes on low flame.

Then add sugar or condensed milk, cardamom powder, cashew powder, milk powder and keep stirring for 5 minutes more.

* Step 3

Then remove from heat and cool for 5 minutes. Divide in 2 portions. Colour one portion with orange and another with green. Keep the mixtures covered.

* Step 4

Mix the colors well in each mixture. Press orange mixture at the base of the tray. Set for 10 minutes. Then press the green mixture on top.

* Step 5

Press the silver warq on top. Set in fridge for 2 to 3 hours. Then remove, cut into squares and offer to divine deity! Happy Navratri to all!
