Bihari Aloo Bhujia

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Peel and cut potatoes into small pieces and cut into slices as shown in pucture.Wash and strain.Heat a heavy bottomed kadahi /wok.
* Step 2
Add oil, let it be warm, add cumin seeds and let it crackle. Cut red chillies into 2-3 pieces, add to oil. Saute 5 seconds.
* Step 3
Add potatoes. Saute on high flame. Cover and saute on high mefium flame for few minutes.
* Step 4
Potatoes are slightly golden and half done, Reduce flame. Add sliced onion, turmeric powder and salt. Mix well. Cover and cook on low medium flame till done Stir occasionally.
* Step 5
After 2-3 minutes, remove lid and fry on high flame to give the potatoes a nice golden colour.
* Step 6
Add red chilli powder.Stir and put
off flame.
* Step 7
Bihari aloo bhujia is ready. Serve with boiled rice /parathas/pooris/chapatis.
