Instant Mango Pickle

Instant Mango Pickle

Mango pickle is a popular accompaniment in India and in Indian sub continents. Here I used the method is very easy and you may prepare the pickle in 15 minutes only.

Ingredient

Food ration :

15-20persons

Cooking time :

2 minutes.
500 grams

raw mangoes

1/2 tsp

carom seeds

3/4 cup

mustard oil

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Cut raw mango into thin slices(1/2cm) without peeling it.Add vinegar and mix well.Cover and leave 15 minutes.

* Step 2

Dry roast nigella seeds and farom seeds together for 1 minute on low flame.Take oit and keep aside

* Step 3

Dry roast all remaining whole spices for 1-2 minutes on low flame.Let it cool then grind coarsely.

* Step 4

Add all powdered spices,salt and coarsely grind spices to mango.Mix well.

* Step 5

Heat mustard oil till smoking point.Transfer immediately hot oil to mango bowl.Add carom-nigella seeds.

* Step 6

Mix,cover and leave 30 minutes.

* Step 7

Instant mango pickle is ready to be served. Enjoy.
