Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Strain the rice and keep it aside.

* Step 2

Take a pan, add 1 tbsp oil, heat it, add veggies, stir fry them till light brown, keep aside.

* Step 3

Take a big pressure cooker, add oil or ghee, heat it.

* Step 4

Add whole garam masala, saute it for a while.

* Step 5

Add ginger garlic paste, add little water and saute it for a while.

* Step 6

Now add onion paste, again add lil water, stir fry it for a while.

* Step 7

Lower the flame now, cover it with the lid, cook it until brown. Stir in between.

* Step 8

Open the lid now, add tomato puree & salt, mix it well, cook it and cover it with the lid, till oil separates.

* Step 9

Now add haldi, dhania & red chilli powder, add little water, increase the flame, stir fry it till oil separates.

* Step 10

Now add garam masala powder, give a stir.

* Step 11

Add veggies & rice, stir fry it for a while.

* Step 12

Now add water accordingly so as to keep the dish dry, stir it.

* Step 13

Increase the flame and pressure cook it for 4 whistles.

* Step 14

Turn off the flame, open the lid and let it cool for 5-7 minutes of cooling.

* Step 15

Take out in a serving dish, garnish it with chopped dhania patta.

* Step 16

Have it with ghee.
