* Step 1

Wash and soak Chana overnight. Firstly take pressure cooker to add into soaked chana with 11/2 cup of water pressure cook till the Channa soft.

Heat the oil in a pan on medium heat. Once hot add mustard urad dal mix and let them splutter.

Then add dried red chili, and curry leaves and sauté few minutes. Then add chopped onion and chopped mango and sauté for 30 seconds.

Now add boiled, drained chana, asafoetida, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.

Now add grated coconut. Mix and cook for a minute. Lastly, add lemon or lime juice, mix and turn off the stove.

Sundal is ready Serve and enjoy.
