Bottle Gourd Halwa
Bottle gourd halwa is a delicious sweet dish prepared by using bottle gourd, milk and sugar. It is low in fat and can be enjoyed after meal as a dessert or sweet dish.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Pour milk in a wide pan or kadhai. Keep it to boil. Then simmer it to low flame until it reduces and thickens slightly.
* Step 2
Heat oil in a pan. Add grated bottle gourd and cook it for 10-15 minutes.
* Step 3
Pour the thickened milk to the bottle gourd and mix properly. Cook it on medium flame until thickens and moisture evaporates.
* Step 4
Add sugar and cardamom powder and cook for a minute.
* Step 5
Garnish with almonds, dried apricot or pistachios and serve hot.
