Medu Vada

Soak in water and make dahi vada #Dal#Post 6

Ingredient

2 tbsp

chana dal

1/2 tsp

cumin seeds

1 pinch

asafoetida

as required

Oil for frying

to taste

Salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash and soak both dals for 6 hrs.

* Step 2

Strain and put in mixer jar.

* Step 3

Add ginger,cumin seeds,green chillies and asafoetida.

* Step 4

Make a smooth paste.

* Step 5

Rest for 1 hour.

* Step 6

Now add salt and beat well with hands.

* Step 7

Heat oil.

* Step 8

Make vadas and fry till golden brown.

* Step 9

Serve with Sambhar or chutney.
