Beef and Broccoli
Beef and broccoli is a classic dish in Chinese restaurants. In my version I add onions and Roma tomatoes. It’s a quick and easy meal.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Place broccoli in a bowl covered with plastic wrap. Poke holes in plastic. Microwave 1-2 minutes.
* Step 2
Make marinade. In a small bowl whisk together the marinade ingredients; soy sauce, sesame oil, baking soda, and cornstarch. Add the sliced beef and mix coating the meat. Marinate for at least 20 minutes or overnight.
* Step 3
Make sauce. In a small bowl whisk together the sauce ingredients; beef stock, oyster sauce, soy sauce, rice wine, ground ginger and cornstarch.
* Step 4
In a wok or large skillet add 2 Tbsp oil and heat on high until oil starts to smoke. Add onions and stir fry 1-2 minutes. Add tomatoes and stir 1-2 minutes. Add broccoli and stir fry 1-2 minutes. Transfer to plate.
* Step 5
Add more oil if needed but beef will give off liquid. Add garlic and marinated beef. Stir fry to just sear the beef.
* Step 6
Mix in sauce, add vegetables and cook for 1-2 minutes to thicken sauce.
* Step 7
Serve with rice and enjoy!
