Stuffed Sprouted Moong Dal Dhokla

#Toc2 #week2 #nutritiousrecipe #Moong Dal dhokla is a healthy, tasty and nutritious dhokla variety made with sprouted whole mung beans, herbs and spices. This snack is a savory steamed vegan and protein-rich and guilt-free that you can enjoy any time.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash abd soak mung dal for 4 hours. Remove excess water and keep aside for 6 hours to sprout. Then grind it to a smooth paste with 2 Green chilli, 1 " ginger and salt in a mixer.

Wash, peel and chop onion, coriander leaves, green chilli. Remove skin of boiled potatoes.

Heat oil on a wok. Add mustard seeds and when mustard seeds splutter add ginger garlic paste. Saute for 30 seconds. Add chopped onion and saute till onion turn golden brown. Add chopped green chilli.

Now add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and coriander seeds powder and saute for 30 seconds. Add mashed potatoes and mix well.

Now add chopped coriander leaves and mix well. Let this mixture gets cool. Then make small ballo of mixture. I have made 4 balls with this mixture.

Add eno fruit salt in dal paste. Squeeze 1/2 lemon over it and mix lightly in one direction. Grease 4 katoris with oil.

Now add 2 tb spoon dal mixture in each katori. Place a potato ball ocer it. Then again pour dal mixture ocer it and cover the potatoes ball with dal batter.

Heat water in a heavy bottomed wok. Place a katori over it. And now place a plate and keep all 4 katoris on it. Cover the lid and steam for 15 minutes on medium flame.

Do knife test. It will come clean it done. Let it cool for 10 minutes. Then demould it. Temper it with mustard seeds tempering and pour the tadka over it.

Serve hot with chutney.
