Hot Chocolate

#spiceweek3 Cinnamon is such an integral part of our daily cuisine, be it in India, in other parts of the world depending on cuisine type cinnamon is used quite a bit. I used in making Hot Chocolate today. I added a fair amount of red chilli powder to give that chilli taste lingering in my mouth inspite of sweetness of chocolate

Preparation time-10 mins, Cooking time-25 mins
1 cup

milk

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a heavy base saucepan combine milk, sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder and bring it to heat on medium flame whisking continuously until well blended.

* Step 2

Add Kashmiri red chilli powder, cinnamon powder, grated nutmeg, vanilla essence and continue whisking on medium flame.

* Step 3

Add the chopped chocolate. Blend well for 2-3 mins so that the creamy thick texture is there.

* Step 4

Pour into a cup and garnish with whipping cream, chopped Dark chocolate. Add Cinnamon stick. Enjoy
