Ragi Chocolate Brownie

#boxweek14 When the topic was Ragi I immediately thought on Brownie as I had seen many recipes with Ragi flour. Chocolate being my favourite I couldn’t stop myself from splurging on the Brownie. I mean what’s the fun of having a brownie without lots of chocolates. This is vegan too

Ingredient

Food ration :

Cooking time :

Preparation time-10 mins, Cooking time-45 mins
As required

Dry ingredients

3/4 cup

Ragi flour

as per taste

Salt

4 Tbsp

coconut oil

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Roast the Ragi flour until little browned and set aside to cool.

* Step 2

In a bowl add bananas slices and mash. Add jaggery powder, baking powder and mix well.

* Step 3

Put a sieve on it and add unsweetened cacao powder, roasted ragi flour, and sieve. Add coconut oil, salt, cashew yogurt and mix very well in the cut & fold technique.

* Step 4

Add some dark chocolates chopped. Prepare the baking tray by greasing with coconut oil, place parchment paper so that little of the sides come out so that molding would be easy. Pour the batter

* Step 5

Add chopped cashew nuts and chopped walnuts and press lightly.

* Step 6

Preheat the oven to 180 deg C and add the baking tray to bake for 15-20 mins or until a toothpick comes clean.

* Step 7

Set aside and cool completely. Cut into squares and enjoy a healthy Chocolate Brownie.
