Apple Cinnamon Paratha with Custard Sauce

Ingredient

1.5 cups

Wheat flour

1 Tbsp

ghee

as per taste

Salt

As needed

Ghee to fry

4 Tbsp

brown sugar

1 Tbsp

butter

1 cup

milk

1 cup

cream

1/2 cup

sugar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

For Dough - in a bowl add wheat flour, ghee, salt and adequate water to make a tight dough. Rest and make 4 balls.

* Step 2

For Filling - wash, deseed, dice the apples. Add to a bowl, add brown sugar and mix well.

* Step 3

In a wok melt butter add the apple mix. On high flame cook for 3 mins. Add breads into a blender and make breadcrumbs. Add breadcrumbs to the apple mix and lime juice. Mix well and set aside. Refrigerate

* Step 4

For Custard Sauce - in a bowl add milk, cream, sugar. Mix and bring it to boil on high. When boil comes, set aside.

* Step 5

In a bowl add egg yolks, vanilla essence and whisk well. Add 3 ladles of milk to it and continuously whisk. Add the egg back to the milk and bring it to light boil. Allow to cool completely and refrigerate

* Step 6

To make the paranthas - roll out and add the apple filling and make a ball. Roll out Paranthas while dusting with wheat flour.

* Step 7

In a wok heat ghee and fry the Paranthas crisp. Set aside.

* Step 8

To plate slice a Parantha, sprinkle icing sugar and add Custard sauce. Enjoy
