Utappam with loaded vegetables

Very healthy breakfast that fulfills our stomach to kick start the day. "#GA4"

Ingredient

Food ration :

10 minutes
1 cup

urad daal

2.5 cups

Idli rava

1 teaspoon

Fenugreek seeds

2 tablespoons

Chana Daal

to taste

Salt

1 teaspoon

Cumin seeds

1 inch

ginger

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a bowl add urad Daal, Chana Daal and fenugreek seeds soak for 4 hours

* Step 2

Then soak Idli rava, poha for ten minutes.

* Step 3

Grind urad Daal, fenugreek seeds, Chana Daal, poha altogether into a thick batter

* Step 4

Then add rava into the batter mixture and let it ferment overnight.

* Step 5

Next day add salt to taste. Take a laddlle full of batter and spread on the hot Tawa. Then add all vegetables on top and spread oil or ghee to roast utappam. Cook it with lid on top to get cooked perfectly.

* Step 6

Serve hot with coconut or peanut chutney and sambar.
