Lemon Pound Cake

My friend sent me many good lemon from her backyard. This lemon cake is so tasty and fragrant.

Ingredient

lemon zest

3 tablespoon

lemon juice

200 g

sugar

120 g

flour

1 teaspoon

baking powder

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Grate and squeeze lemon to make lemon zest and lemon juice.

Separate egg yolk and white. Whip egg white with 1 tablespoon sugar.

Mix sugar and room temperature butter. Add egg yolk.

Mix lemon juice, zest and drying ingredients and whipped egg white.

Bake cake batter in 180℃ preheated oven for 45 minutes until good color.

Make lemon sugar icing. Just mixing all well.

When the cake has cooled, pour sugar icing on the top.

Wrap the cake with film and stay for a day.
