Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat a pressure cooker,add oil and let it be warm.Add whole spuces and let them crackle.Add sliced onion and fry till golden.

Add mutton and cook on high heat for 2 minutes.Add ginger garlic paste,and all powdered spices.Saute few minutes till oil separates.

Add salt and cut tomatoes.Stir.

Add 1 cup water and close the lid of pressure cooker.Cook 1 whistle on high flame and 5-6minutes on medium flame.

Open the lid after pressure release.Saute few minutes,add curd and saute till oil separates.Add green chillies and garam masala powder also.

Add 1 cup water (adjust).Close the lid without went weifht.Cook 2-3minutes on medium heat.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash and soak chana dal for 2 hours.

* Step 2

Slice onions into thin slices.Heat pil in a pressure cooker.Add all whole spices and saute for 30 seconds.Add onion slices and fry till golden.

* Step 3

Add mutton,cook for 3-4minutes on high flame till water dries.

* Step 4

Add ginger garlic paste,stir well and cookfor 1 minute.Add all powdered spuces exept garam masala.

* Step 5

Now add chana dal and curd and cook for 2 minutes on medium flame.Cook till oil separates.

* Step 6

Add 2 cups water and cover the lid of pressure cooker.Cook on high flame for 1 whistle.

* Step 7

Lower the flame and cookfor 5 minutes on low -medium flame.After then put off flame.

* Step 8

Let pressure release.Open the lid.Now put on flame.Add garam masala and green chillies.Stir and cook for 2 minutes on low flame.

* Step 9

Adjust consistency of gravy.Cook for 2-3minutes on low flame.Put off flame and leave for 5 minutes.

* Step 10

Serve hot after garnishing with coriander leaves.You may serve this dish with plain chapati/parathe,boiled rice or puris.

There are so many methods of making pulav and biryanis.Here I'm sharing a very simple method to make mutton pulao.Have a look.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat a pressure cooker.Put all the ingredients of mutton prepration.Add 1/2cup water.

* Step 2

Close the lid and cook on high pressure for 1 whistle.Simmer the flame to medium, and cook for 4-5 minutes.

* Step 3

Put off flame and let pressure release itself.

* Step 4

Meanwhile boil pre soaked(30 minutes)rice with salt and spices.

* Step 5

When rice is cooked fully,drain and keep aside.

* Step 6

Now mutton is also prepared and there is some gravy in the bottom of pressure cooker.

* Step 7

Add boiled rice to mutton, add peas also,cover the lid without vent weight,and further cook on low flame for 10 minutes.

* Step 8

Dissolve food colour in milk,add kewra water and pour over mutton pulao.Leave for 5 minutes.

* Step 9

Serve hot with raita.

* Step 1

Wash and soak badmati rice for 60 minutes.Slice onion thinly and fry in ghee till golden.Take out half.

Put mutton in the remaining half onion.Add curd lemon juice,salt,all powdered spices,stir well.Add 3cup water,cover and cook on low-medium flame till mutton is soft.

Soak saffron in milk and add kewra water.Keep aside.

Put mutton pan on flame.Add half basmati rice to mutton.Add cream,green chillies,some fried rice and pour saffron milk over rice.

Make a dough from wheat flour,seal the edges of pan,cover and cook on lowest flame for 9-10 minutes.
