Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Firstly marinate the chicken with lil salt & haldi powder, mix it well, keep aside for 1/2 hour.

* Step 2

Grind onion & green chilli with lil water, make a fine paste.

* Step 3

Soak badam overnight, peel them. Soak kaju in boiling water for 1/2 hr. Grind them together with lil water, make a fine paste. Keep aside.

* Step 4

Take a wok, add 2 tbsp oil, heat it. Fry chicken pcs till light brown. Keep aside.

* Step 5

Now take rest of the oil & butter in the same wok, add tejpatta & dalchini, saute it for a sec.

* Step 6

Add onion paste now, stir fry it for a minute, in goes ginger garlic paste, saute it until rawness is released. Add lil water to avoid burning.

* Step 7

Lower the flame

* Step 8

Mix dahi with Kashmiri red chilli powder & dhania powder, add in the masala, mix it well. Lower the flame, cook it covered until oil has surfaced. Open the lid. Add chicken pcs now, give a stir. Add salt also.

* Step 9

Mix fresh cream & coconut milk, add in the masala, mix it well. Lower the flame, cover it again, cook it until oil has oozed out.

* Step 10

Open the lid, increase the flame, add garam masala powder, kasoori methi & kaju badam paste, mix it well. Stir fry it for a minute.

* Step 11

Add 1 cup boiled water, mix it. Give a boil. Lower the flame, cover it with the lid.

* Step 12

Cook it until gravy becomes saucy. Turn off the flame, open the lid after 10 minutes.

* Step 13

Take out in a serving bowl, garnish it with chopped dhania patta.

* Step 14

Can be served along with Tandoori Roti, Nan or Lachcha Paratha...

* Step 1

Firstly add onion & green chilli in a mixer jar, add lil water, grind it to a fine paste, keep aside.

* Step 2

For Kaju Badam paste..... a). Soak badam overnight, peel them. Soak kaju in boiled water for 1/2 hour. Add in a mixer jar, add lil water, grind it to a fine paste, keep aside.

* Step 3

Take a wok or deep bottom pan, add 1 tbsp oil, heat it. Add peeled eggs, stir fry them till light brown. Keep aside.

Add rest of the oil & butter in the same pan, heat it. Add tejpatta & dalchini, saute it for a sec.

Now add onion paste, stir fry it for a minute. In goes ginger garlic paste, add very lil water, saute it until rawness is released.

Lower the flame, cover it with the lid,cook it till oil separates. Open the lid, add salt & haldi powder, mix it well.

Now add dhania powder & garam masala powder, stir it for a minute.

Whisk dahi, add in the masala, stir it for a minute.

Add kaju badam paste now, stir it, add lil water, mix it well. Cover it again, cook it on low flame until oil has oozed out.

Open the lid, add kasoori methi, fresh cream & coconut milk, mix it well. Cover it again, cook it on low flame until oil has oozed out.

Cut fried eggs into halves, add them upside down one by one in the masala, increase the flame, stir it gently

Add 1 cup water, mix it well. Give a boil.

Cover it again, lower the flame, cook it until gravy becomes saucy.

* Step 1

For spinach paste....a). Take a small bunch of spinach, segregate the leaves. Blanch it, keep it in the ice water.

* Step 2

B). Take a mixer jar, add blanched spinach, 8 green chilli & 1 cup dhania patta, grind it to a fine paste, keep aside.

* Step 3

For kaju badam paste...a). Soak 12 badam in water overnight, peel them, keep aside.

* Step 4

B). Soak 12 kaju in boiling water for 1/2 hour.

* Step 5

C). Add in both in mixer jar, add very lil water, grind it to a fine paste, keep aside.

* Step 6

Take a mixing bowl, add chicken legs & all the ingredients of marination, mix it well. Keep it in the fridge for 2 hours.

Take a wok or deep bottom pan, add oil, heat it.

In goes onion, stir fry it until light brown. Add in ginger garlic, saute it until rawness is released.

Add in marinated chicken drumsticks, stir fry it for a minute. Lower the flame, cover it with the lid, cook it until chicken is almost cooked. Stir in between.

Open the lid, increase the flame, add in red chilli powder & garam masala powder, mix it well. Cook it until oil has oozed out.

Now add fresh cream, give a stir, lower the flame, cover it again, cook it until oil has oozed out.

Open the lid, increase the flame, add 1 cup boiled water, mix it well. Give a boil.

* Step 1

Firstly slice 3 med sized onion. Take a pan, add 1 cup water, add sliced onion, boil them till the colour of onion changes into purple.

Grind kaju badam with very lil water to a fine paste

* Step 3

Cool it, grind it to a fine paste, keep aside.

Take a mixing bowl, add chicken legs. Add all the given ingredients of marination, mix it well, keep aside.

Take a handi or deep bottom pan, add oil & butter, heat it. Moderate the flame, add choti Elaichi and dalchini, saute it for a sec.

Add boiled onion paste now, saute it for 5 minutes. Add chicken pcs now, stir fry it for 5 minutes. Do not brown it.

Add kaju badam paste now, stir it, add salt now.

Sprinkle garam masala powder & black pepper, give a stir.

Mix milk & cream, add in the chicken. Keep stirring for 5 minutes.

Lower the flame, cover it with the lid, cook it until gravy becomes a lil thick. Stir intermittently.

* Step 1

Take a wok, add 1 tbsp oil, heat it. Fry carrots, gobhi, aloo & bell pepper with very lil salt till light brown. Take out in a dish, keep aside.

* Step 2

Add more oil in the same wok, heat it. Add choti Elaichi & dalchini, sauté it for a while.

* Step 3

Now add ginger garlic paste, add lil water, sauté it for a while. Add onion paste, again add lil water, stir fry it for a while.

* Step 4

Lower the flame now, cover it with the lid, cook it until brown. Stir intermittently.

* Step 5

Mix haldi, dhania & red chilli powder with lil water, add in the masala. Increase the flame, cook it till oil has oozed out.

* Step 6

Now add tomato & salt, stir fry it for a while. Add kaju badam paste, mix it well. Now add all the veggies, give a stir.

* Step 7

Lower the flame now, add butter & fresh cream, stir fry it gently. Cover it again, cook it for a min. Add garam masala powder, give a stir.

* Step 8

Take a pressure cooker, transfer the veggies into it. Add 1/2 cup water, place the lid, give 1 whistle at high flame.

* Step 9

Switch off the flame as soon as second whistle starts. Allow it to depressurise. Open the lid after a while.

* Step 10

Take out in a serving bowl, garnish it with chopped dhania patta & slitted green chilli.

* Step 11

Have it with Nan, Roti or Paratha..
