Garam Masala Pulao

A very tasty one-pot meal Can be a combo with any main course

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

First strain the rice, keep aside.

* Step 2

Take a heavy bottom sauce pan or bhagona, add ghee & butter, heat it.

* Step 3

Add whole garam masala & zeera, saute it for a while.

* Step 4

Now add onion chopped, stir fry it till translucent.

* Step 5

Add ginger garlic grated, saute it for a while.

* Step 6

Add green chilli & veggies, stir fry it for a while.

* Step 7

Now add salt & garam masala powder, give a stir.

* Step 8

Add rice, mix it well.

* Step 9

Stir fry it for a while.

* Step 10

Now add 2-3 cup water or accordingly, stir it, give a boil at high flame.

* Step 11

Lower the flame now, cover it with the lid, cook it until rice is done. Do not stir in between.

* Step 12

Switch off the flame, open the lid after a while.

* Step 13

Take out in a serving dish, serve it with any raita, chutney or salad.
