Cracker Barrel's Hashbrown Casserole

My mom made this over the holidays and my picky son absolutely devoured this. The recipe called for hashbrowns and an onion...I ended up using southern style hashbrowns (which is diced opposed to shredded) and green onions with a bit of onion powder. I also used a mix of colby jack cheese with some sharp cheddar. It came out super delicious.

Ingredient

Food ration :

4-6 servings

Cooking time :

45-55 min
1 pint (16 oz)

sour cream

1/4 tsp

pepper

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Farenheit

* Step 2

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl reserving 1/2 cup of cheese for topping

* Step 3

Put in greased 9x13 pan topped with reserved cheese.

* Step 4

Bake 45-55 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

* Step 5

This is a good casserole to make ahead of time and/or freeze for another time.
