Cut Out Sugar Cookies
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Using a stand or hand mixer, cream together room temperature butter and sugar
* Step 2
Add vanilla and eggs one at a time until thoroughly mixed
* Step 3
Slowly add flour, baking powder, and salt. The mixture should be soft but not sticky. Add flour 1 tbsp at a time if dough is sticky
* Step 4
Divide dough in half, then wrap in saran wrap and chill in the fridge for at least two hours
* Step 5
After dough is sufficiently chilled, roll out to 1/2" thickness and use cookie cutters as desired
* Step 6
Bake cookies at 350F for 10 minutes. Decorate with frosting after completely cool
