Cooking instructions

* Step 1

For creamy paste....soak all the given ingredients in hot water for 1/2 hr, strain it, grind it to a fine paste with lil water, keep aside.

* Step 2

For chilli garlic paste....soak 12 dry red chilli in boiled water for 1/2 hr. Take a grinder jar, add 1 cup garlic cloves & soaked red chilli. Add lil water, grind it to a fine paste, keep aside.

* Step 3

Soak soya chunks in boiled water for 1/2 hr. Strain it, transfer it into normal water, keep aside for 1/2 hr. Strai it.

Take a wok or pan, add 1 tbsp oil, heat it. Squeeze the soya chunks gently, add in the hot oil, stir fry it until dry, take out in a bowl, keep aside.

Now add rest of the oil & butter in the same wok or pan, heat it. Moderate the flame, add chilli garlic paste & ginger paste, saute it until rawness is released, add very lil water to avoid burning.

In goes onion paste, mix it well. Cook it covered on low flame until light brown.

Open the lid, increase the flame, add haldi powder, dhania powder & kashmiri red chilli powder, mix it well.

Add lil water, salt & sugar, stir it. Lower the flame, cover it with the lid, cook it until oil has oozed out.

Open the lid, increase the flame, add dahi. Mix it well.Cook it covered on low flame until oil has surfaced.

In goes garam masala powder removing the lid, mix it well. Increase the flame.

Now add creamy paste, mix it well. Cook it until oil has oozed out.

Add soya chunks now, stir fry it for a minute.

* Step 13

In goes 1 cup boiled water, mix it well. Give a boil. Cook it covered on low flame until gravy turns saucy.

Turn off the flame, open the lid after 10 minutes. Take out in a serving bowl, garnish it with chopped dhania patta...
