Palak Kofta (spinach kofta curry) is a delicious vegetarian curry recipe. Palak koftas are deep-fried balls. These koftas are prepared with chopped spinach, onion, and gram flour along with spices.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Take a bowl add all the ingredients of kofta (except cornflour) mix it well.
* Step 2
Now make koftas with this mixture and coated with cornflour. Make all koftas like this and keep aside. Now heat the oil once it's done add one by one koftas in it and deep fry till it's become golden brown. After frying remove all koftas from the oil. And keep aside.
* Step 3
Now in a pan heat the oil add cumin seeds, bay leaf and green chilli. Saute for few seconds. After that add onion and saute well.
* Step 4
Now add ginger garlic paste and cook it well. Now add tomatoes and also cook it well.
* Step 5
Now add all the dry spices (except red chilli and garam masala) in it and cook it till oil separate. Now add little water, red chilli powder and garam masala powder in it and mix it well.
* Step 6
Now add water as required and allow to boil it. Once it's boil add all koftas in it. Cover it and cook it for 5 minutes on low to medium flame.
* Step 7
After 5 minutes switch off the flame. Your palak kofta is ready. Enjoy!
