Whole Wheat Tutti Fruiti Sweet Buns

#special #cookpadindia The mere mention of Tutti Fruiti sends us down the memory lane into our childhood where we all relished the bread that has loads of them in it. These same little beauties are used in these gorgeous soft smooth Sweet Buns by me to be had with our daily evening Tea or Coffee. It's an excellent Snack or a Brunch idea on any day. Not only is it easier, it has just a few ingredients. And absolutely healthy and perfect. It's a constant feature at my house and is made every now and then for my family. Super soft and fluffy Buns can be an instant hit with everyone. So let's get down to the recipe index dear people. Happy Baking with Zee!

Ingredient

25 minutes

1 tsp

Dry Yeast

1/2 cup

Tutti Fruiti

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Add the yeast and sugar to the warm milk. Give it a light stir and set aside to prove. Combine all the ingredients mentioned for making the dough adding the yeast mix that's ready little by little. If anything remains of the mix, discard it.

You can add a tbsp of butter too in the dough if you wish. I did not add it.

* Step 3

Cover it up and leave it in a warm place to double for an hour. You can also add more of the powdered sugar if you wish. After an hour the dough looks like this after punching it down.

Shape medium sized balls, as seen in the pic and set aside to prove further for about 20 to 30 minutes. After the stipulated time, bake them in a preheated oven on 180° for 20 minutes. Brush them with some melted Butter on top and sprinkle some Sesame Seeds.

This recipe makes about 10 buns. Serve with Fresh Cream and a cup of any of your favourite hot beverage. Enjoy!
